Dr. Negroponte has just completed a diplomatic history on the end of the Cold War to be published in 2019. She is a Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center and was previously a Visiting Fellow at the Brookings Institution. She has taught Latin American History and U.S. foreign policy at Georgetown University, Fordham University and George Washington University. Her previous books focused on conflict resolution in Central America and Mexico's politics, economics and energy policy. She has published widely on Mexico, Venezuela and Central America.
