GW classes are canceled, administrative and academic offices are closed, and activities and events will not take place on Wednesday, March 21 at all of our Washington metropolitan area campuses and locations because of inclement weather.

Visiting Scholar Program

The Elliott School invites applications from U.S. and international scholars for research and writing on topics related to the substantive focuses of our research centers and affiliated programs. Visiting scholars participate fully in the intellectual life of the Elliott School and The George Washington University, including special events, lectures, workshops, conferences, and other activities. Interested researchers may apply to one or more of the Elliott School's centers and institutes for consideration for appointment as Visiting Scholars. Selected applicants will be nominated by the director of the relevant center or institute for consideration by the Associate Dean for Research.
