Visiting Scholar Program
The Elliott School invites applications from U.S. and international scholars for research and writing on topics related to the substantive focuses of our research centers and affiliated programs. Visiting scholars participate fully in the intellectual life of the Elliott School and The George Washington University, including special events, lectures, workshops, conferences, and other activities. Interested researchers may apply to one or more of the Elliott School's centers and institutes for consideration for appointment as Visiting Scholars. Selected applicants will be nominated by the director of the relevant center or institute for consideration by the Associate Dean for Research.
Institute for International Science and Technology Policy (CISTP)
Those interested in becoming Visiting Scholars should submit a letter of interest with details on your intended research project to Director Allison Macfarlane (email@example.com) at least four (4) months in advance of their requested start time. Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (IERES)
Interested scholars should send their CV, a 2-page description of their research project, and the proposed dates of residency to firstname.lastname@example.org. A more detailed description of the IERES Visiting Scholar program and what should be included in the research proposal can be found here.

The Sigur Center for Asian Studies
The Sigur Center Visiting Scholar program requires interested scholars to submit an Application Form, a one-page description of the research project, a detailed resume or CV, two letters of recommendation, and a description of what resources in the area you will use.
