Join GSS for an information session with the EU DisInfo Lab. and meet the Executive Director, Alexandre Alaphilippe and Gary Machado, Executive Director of EENA & Managing Director at EU DisinfoLab.  This session will cover the fight against foreign interference and manipulation in the West, the lab's work in response, skillsets involved in being effective in this field, and internship opportunities.The EU Disinfo Lab is an independent non-profit organization that gathers knowledge and expertise on disinformation in Europe. Through their research, investigative work and policy acumen, EU DisinfoLab is an active member of, and supports, a passionate and vast community that helps to detect, tackle, and prevent information disorders endangering citizens’ integrity, peaceful coexistence and democratic values.Their research is multifaceted: they continuously monitor disinformation activities across all social platforms to identify trends and threats. In addition to this, they use open source intelligence techniques (OSINT)  to uncover disinformation networks, strategies, as well as inauthentic behavior.  Their findings are then disseminated via partnerships with the media and leading experts in the field. This session would be of great interest for :
