Join us for a site visit February 3rd from 2-3PM to the IMF and World Bank! For students interested in International Economic Policy, Finance, Development work at a multilateral, topics will focus on:
Role of the WBB/IMF and focused on careers at IMF/WBG.
Direct hire positions Vs. Short Term Consultancy work? 
How to find contracting jobs and with changes to short term consultancy structure in 2026 and 2027, how can students find these jobs given that many people do not start at the IMF/WBG  through direct hires?
How is IMF/WBG changing practices based on changing US commitments to multilaterals?
What jobs and/or skills students can build in other work before applying to the IMF/WBG? 
How can non-US citizens get jobs at the IMF/WBG in the US?
Space is limited to 25-30 students.TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:1:45– Arrive for security processing2:00- Greetings & Students Intros2:10- Information Session2:45- Career Resources Discussion3:00- Alumni Panel/engagement (if applicable.)3:15– Q &A/Networking3:40- Tour/Group photo3:45- Program Concludes/travel back to GWULOGISTICSParticipants are welcome to meet Elliott staff at the Graduate Student Lounge on the 6th Floor, in front of the GSS office, by 1:30 p.m. as we plan to head out no later than 1:35 p.m.  Those who would like to meet the group at the IMF/WBG, kindly be sure to arrive no later than 1:45 p.m.Students must bring a Government Issued ID with them for admittance to the WBG/IMF.
