Elizabeth Lusk | Wednesdays | 10:00am - 12:00pm |

Academic advisors will set drop-in hours each semester. During these hours, the advisor will be available to meet with students in-person OR over the phone on a first-come, first-served basis (no appointment necessary). Questions are not limited to "general questions", but meetings may be limited to 15 minutes.
During office hours, students are welcome to meet with any advisor (not limited to their assigned advisor), but may be asked to schedule a follow-up appointment with their assigned advisor if appropriate. To meet with an advisor during office hours, please check-in at the front desk of Suite 603 or call 202-994-3788.
*In the event that office hours are cancelled, a notification will be posted on the 19thandE Blog.
What Advisors Do
While students are responsible for determining their schedule and meeting all degree requirements, Academic Advisors are here to guide graduate students through the entire graduate degree. An Academic Advisor can help you:
- Choose your courses
- Prepare your plan of study
- Organize a study abroad experience
- Check your progress towards graduation
- Generally facilitate your successful completion of GW and the Elliott School's graduate program.
