- Update your resume with your most recent experiences and accomplishments.
Students should reach out to their university's career center for support and resources as they prepare for the fair.
GW STUDENTS ONLY: Resume Drops
The GW Center for Career Services utilizes resume drops so that students may submit their resumes directly to employers in advance of the fair. Students may submit their resumes to the resume drops regardless of whether or not they attend the fair. (Note! Resume drops are not jobs. They are simply a way to ensure an employer has your resume for review before and after a fair.)
To participate in the resume drops, follow these steps:
- Review the resume drops, available in the Jobs section of Handshake.
- Click on the resume drop for an employer you'd like to submit your resume to.
- Click "Apply" and select the resume you'd like to submit (Tip! You'll need to have uploaded your resume into Handshake in order to submit resume drops.)
- Repeat for all employers of interest.
Students may submit their resumes to the resume drops between September 8 - October 12.
This fair is co-sponsored by the GW Center for Career Services, the GW Graduate School of Political Management, the School of Media & Public Affairs, and Georgetown University.
