How frustrating is it to maintain a perfect one-page résumé during the fall semester, only to land a job and have it extend to a second page due to newly gained experience?  In the final event of the Writer’s Block Series, we will show you strategies and techniques to make the process easier, helping you save time and alleviate stress. In this session, you will walk away learning how to:
Apply adjustments to your document margins.
Adjust non-text elements, such as “white-space” gaps.
Strategically use the correct font, lower the font size, and keep the text legible.
Reduce the indent to your bullets to ensure more text is presented across the page.
The art of “wordsmithing” to manage the number of lines being used in your bullets.
To help you see these strategies in action, Senior Career Coach Josh Lissauer will perform a live demo, converting a two-page resume back into a one-page resume.  Please bring all your questions and issues about page bleeding and document recovery techniques to the session.   What is The Elliott Writer’s Block Series? The Elliott Writer’s Block aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge to create powerful documents for all your job applications.
