Join our first Career Cafe of the new year and Spring semester! In this session, you'll get to meet our newest team member, Felix Caraballo, Career and Academic Advisor. Felix is originally from New York, but has lived all over the United States - ten different states from East to West and North to South - before finally settling in the DC area nearly 20 years ago. He’s a life-long public servant with over 30 years of operational leadership experience as a military officer and federal civilian manager (with the Departments of State, Homeland Security, and Defense), as well as 7 years of experience teaching Business and Marketing at the High School level. He loves cycling and traveling with his wife of 30+ years, as well as playing Dungeons and Dragons with his adult children and their partners. Felix will be leading a discussion about what career planning looks like in public service and will be sharing how differently public service can look/feel at different organizations and at different points in your career.
