- Research Processor and Director of the Digital Trade and Data Governance Hub Susan Aaronson published, "The Age of AI Nationalism and Its Effects," for the Centre for International Governance Innovation.
- Assistant Professor Aaron Bateman authored, “Hunting the Red Bear: Satellite Reconnaissance and the ‘Second OffsetStrategy’ in the Late Cold War,” for The International History Review.
- The GW Institute for Korean Studies, in collaboration with the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies at Seoul National University, released the September issue of its new US-ROK Policy Brief Series: Unification Doctrine for Free, Peaceful, and Prosperous Unified Korean Peninsula.
- Professor Alexa Alice Joubin received a Distinguished Visiting Professor appointment from the University of Alberta.
- Lucia M. Rafanelli, Assistant Professor of Political Science, won a Shapiro Policy Research Scholar fellowship from the George Washington Institute of Public Policy, The George Washington University for academic year 2024-2025.
