Professor Paul Shaya is a senior intelligence executive with 28 years of experience in the US Government. He is currently working as an analytic methodologist in the Central Intelligence Agency. Career highlights include editor of the President's Daily Brief, intelligence analyst focused on the Middle East and Africa, and an economic officer at the Department of State with postings in Cairo and Tel Aviv. He received an MA at the Elliott School of International Affairs and a BS in Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
