Join us for an exciting site visit to the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP)!
The USIP is a national, nonpartisan, independent institute, founded by Congress and dedicated to the proposition that a world without violent conflict is possible, practical and essential for U.S. and global security. In conflict zones abroad, the Institute works with local partners to prevent, mitigate, and resolve violent conflict.
Meet with USIP leadership and GW alumni, as well as take a tour of the facility. Featuring:
- Dr. Illana Lancaster (GW MEd '10) Director of Higher Education Engagement.
- Ellie Quinlan, Manager of the Public Visitors Program
Space is limited to 25 students.

LOGISTICS
Participants are welcome to meet Elliott staff at the Graduate Student Lounge on the 6th Floor, in front of the GSS office, by 1:55 p.m. as we plan to head out no later than 2:00 p.m. and walk to USIP by approximately 2:15 p.m.
Those who would like to meet the group at USIP, kindly be sure to get there no later than 2:15 p.m.
Students should bring a Government Issued ID with them for admittance to the building. (Your GW-ID does NOT meet this requirement.)
