Krista Auchenbach

Krista Auchenbach is a senior advisor, strategist, and defense policy expert in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.  She has served in a number of capacities at the U.S. Department of Defense since 2008, including within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, Headquarters Air Force, and the Immediate Office of the Deputy Secretary, and also completed rotations with U.S. European Command, the Joint Staff, and U.S. Department of State.  Through Fall 2024-2025, she will serve as a visiting fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
