Judith Murphy retired after a successful career as an intelligence professional. Her over 30 years of military and government experience have given her deep expertise in intelligence analysis, military force analysis, remote sensing, and geographic information systems. She served as a communications officer, a logistics officer, a civil affairs officer, and an intelligence officer on active duty and in the Marine Corps Reserve--retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. She has written a variety of long and short intelligence reports in support of policymakers, military seniors, analytic peers, and deploying Marines. She has taught writing skills courses for the Elliott School since 2017.
