Joseph Strodel

Mr. Strodel is a senior leader with twenty years of experience in development and alumni relations at top ranked, global institutions of higher education. He has directed principal and major gifts teams, corporate and foundation relations teams, as well as created and built high performing teams in communications and alumni affairs. He has raised over $100 million, cumulatively, at Cornell University, University of Alberta, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and George Washington University. He has held volunteer leadership positions, including President, Board of Directors, of non-profit cultural organizations, such as Skaneateles Area Arts Council, and the Skaneateles Festival in Upstate New York.  Most recently, he was a member of the advisory boards of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany, NY, and the Rensselaer County Historical Society in the capital district of New York State. He  joined the Elliott School in January 2020.
