Born and raised in the UAE, Javeria Ali was inspired by her exposure to democracy and diplomacy in the U.S., leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Her study abroad experience in Morocco focused on the complexities of Chinese investments in Africa, influencing her decision to pursue a Master of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economic Policy at the Elliott School of International Affairs, where she is set to graduate in Spring 2025.
Her career began as a Writing Editor for K-12 students in the UAE, where she nurtured language skills and fostered cross-cultural communication. During her undergraduate studies, she championed inclusivity as a DEI Ambassador and contributed to social changes, interning in the pivotal 2020 Georgia election for Senator Jon Ossoff's campaign.
Javeria’s commitment to education and social impact is reflected in her community involvement. She has volunteered at the WISE Foundation to assist J-1 international students in securing U.S. high school placements and easing their cultural transitions. Furthermore, she played a vital role at the International Rescue Committee in guiding Afghan and Syrian refugees to access education in the U.S.
