Join us for an info session with TechCongress - a non-profit, bi-partisan organization that bridges the divide of knowledge and experience between politics and tech for better outcomes for both.In 2026, they expanded the fellowship beyond just “technologist” to include digital service delivery, climate tech, criminal justice, and space; and, now include degrees/experience in engineering, development, journalism, scientific, legal, &/or government roles in the tech, climate, and criminal justice fields. Since its founding in 2015, TechCongress Fellows (130 thus far) have served under the most influential members of the House and Senate including Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and more.  Fellows have done groundbreaking work including:
changing defense procurement rules to allow startups to better compete for contracts and support our service members
helping draft the House Judiciary Committee’s Antitrust Subcommittee report on tech monopolies

issuing House Modernization Committee’s recommendations to make Congress more effective, efficient and transparent; and,
passing the OPEN Government Data Act into law.

Policy Opportunities and Subnational engagement

Fellowship opportunities to gain first-­hand experience in federal policymaking and shape the future of tech policy for Early Careers- Congressional Innovation Fellowship & Mid-career Professionals- Senior Congressional Innovation Fellowship Fellows serve as a pipeline for tech expertise into the public sector.

Future need of tech policy & governance experts at the state/local, national and international level.
PRESENTER BIOMya Saint-Louis (they/them) is the Programs Associate at TechCongress, where they assist with recruiting, selections, placement, events, and fellowship programming.
