Mylonas offers a data driven analysis of key political, social, and economic events and trends in the Hellenic Republic.
He chronicles national, regional, and municipal elections in which New Democracy dominated and which led to the resignation of the head of the Coalition of the Radical Left, Alexis Tsipras. Meanwhile, wildfires, violence, floods, and the Tempi train crash underscored public mistrust of government and politicians. Though the country regained investment-grade status, inflation proved a persistent challenge as did gender-based violence.
