Erik Schmidt

Prior to joining GW, Erik worked as a high school history teacher and wilderness expedition leader at a semester school in Leadville, CO. He holds a B.A. in History and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of New Hampshire. When he's not at work, you might find Erik listening to "60 Songs That Explain the '90s," biking around the city, or reading something by Colson Whitehead or George Saunders.
