Join Senior Career Coach, Josh Lissauer, who will lead a moderated panel discussion that features Elliott Alumni Dimitri Bien-Aime and Sam Howell.  They will share their experiences researching and authoring copy and manuscripts that have been published in journals and books.  A publishing career path in International Affairs is an amazing way to build your intellectual authority in the field. The second Writer’s Block session will focus on:
Overcoming writer’s block, staying focused, and meeting tight and rigid deadlines.
What courses and skills at Elliott helped the authors navigate their publishing accomplishments?
What strategies should be considered when launching a publishing career?
How is the publishing community changing and adapting to emerging technologies?

It offers thematic workshops and includes Interactive group activities in its 60-minute session.  You will walk away understanding the critical techniques for crafting outstanding documents for all your job applications. The Event Series is led by Joshua Lissauer, Senior Career Coach with Graduate Student Services. Josh brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to help students perfect and customize their professional documents, such as resumes, CVs, cover letters, essays, statements of interest, or writing samples.
