Dean B welcomed students at the Undergraduate Pizza Party the first week of school. 508 students, 1600 slices of pizzas, 8 raffle prizes, a trivia contest and the chance to win a lunch with Dean were all part of the traditional opening of the school year for matriculating freshman and transfer students.
Dean B encouraged the students to work hard, but keep a balanced approach to their new lives on GW’s campus. He suggested the Elliott School attracted scrappy, hard-working students who wanted a front-row seat to international affairs as opposed to studying about international affairs in a textbook from afar.
