COVID-19 Information

As the university continues to monitor the evolving situation around the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), please refer to GW's COVID-19 response website, continuously updated with the latest campus response and GW-affiliated travel information.

During GW's Instructional Continuity Period, the Office of Graduate Admissions will be open for business virtually until further notice. Operating hours will remain Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m. EST and we will be available to answer your questions via phone at 202-994-7050. All of our information sessions will be held virtually and short recordings of lectures are available to you in the absence of in-person class sessions. 

The safety and care of our community is our top priority, and we appreciate your flexibility during this time. We look forward to connecting with you!

The Office of Graduate Admissions is excited to connect with prospective students! We invite you to attend an in-person or online info session, virtual grad fair, chat with us online, or connect with our students and alumni. Please note, we update this page with additional events and online sessions once information is available, so check back frequently for the most up-to-date information. We look forward to meeting you!

Information sessions are hosted on Mondays and Fridays at 11:00 am, the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. These info sessions, led by an admissions counselor, give you the opportunity to ask questions about the application process and the Elliott School.

Beginning Friday, September 3, info sessions held on Fridays will be offered in-person and limited to 2 attendees. All other information sessions will remain virtual.

Thank you for your interest in the Elliott School of International Affairs! This form is to request a Virtual Group Info Session and is intended to be used by groups from college grad-preparatory programs, community organizations, employers, etc.

Please note that it is difficult for us to accommodate groups below the 11th-grade level. Due to high visitor volume and staffing limitations, we are unfortunately not able to grant every request we receive. All requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
