Autumn Perkey is a sixth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, College Park. She specializes in the intersection between political psychology, conflict processes, and foreign policy. Her dissertation focuses on the relationship between identity and emotions impacting attitudes during conflict. Before attending the University of Maryland, she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the Ohio State University. She has worked as a research assistant for the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security, the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, and the RAND Corporation.


International Relations and American Politics, focusing on political psychology, conflict processes, and foreign policy.
