GW Elliott School confers first Elliott Equity Fund Awards

The summer after her first year at GW – entirely online – Deseree Chacha spent three weeks in Tanzania, to visit her grandmother and other family members. “I am a first-generation Tanzanian-American, and I think of Tanzania as home,” she says. “I definitely have taken an international journey to the Elliott School.” Read more in Elliott 360.

Stephen B. Kaplan Receives 2023 Luciano Tomassini International Relations Book Award

Associate Professor Stephen B. Kaplan's book, Globalizing Patient Capital: The Political Economy of Chinese Finance in the Americas (Cambridge University Press), was awarded the 2023 Luciano Tomassini International Relations Book Award, presented by the Latin American Studies Association (LASA). This award is presented to the author of an outstanding book on Latin American foreign policies and international relations. Congratulations to Dr. Kaplan!
