Virtual State Department DIR Series - Event #1 - Diplomat in Residence (DIR)

Join us for the first event in our Spring semester Series, in cooperation with the US State Department’s Diplomat in Residence (DIR), Darion Akins. The George Washington University, collaborating with other university partners, is offering students a series of events to showcase State Department (SD) opportunities, roles, and responsibilities. In addition to the diplomatic corps, the Series will highlight information about other State Department positions in the civil service, cybersecurity, administration, and policy and consists of a Diplomat in Residence Overview; State Department Panel of Professionals; and, a State Department Site Visit. The State Department site visit is on a first come, first served basis. Events in the series are scheduled monthly from February through April. Virtual meeting link will be provided before the event.
