ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO 17 STUDENTS. Join GSS staff Jeneva Pace, Employer Development Consultant, on a Networking Journey as we trek across DC this summer!  For our “Summer In The City” Social Series in June, we will head to the US Capitol for a guided tour with the Office of Virginia Senator, Mark Warner.DESTINATIONUS Capitol Tour Visitors Center,  1st St SE, Washington, DC 20515 EVENT DESCRIPTION"Arrive at the Capitol’s Visitors Center 45 minutes before your scheduled tour to allow for enough time to process through security. For your awareness, this is a modified version of tours that will last roughly 1 hour and will include views of the Rotunda, the Crypt, Statuary Hall, the Old Supreme Court Chamber, and the Old Senate Chamber.The Senate and House should be in session on June 25th, so you will have an opportunity to visit the gallery subject to the vote schedule of that day. The Capitol tour guides will be able to guide you to the galleries.Please note: The list of prohibited items here."  LOGISTICSMeet by 9:55AM in Elliott School Lobby. 10AM- Walk to Farragut West Metro10:15- Arrive at Farragut West.10:25- Metro to Capitol South (10 min)10: 32- Arrive at Capitol. Walk to East Side, Visitor Center Entrance (Supreme Court Side)OR… meet me there no later than 10:45AM to go through security.
