Scott Pace Wins IAF ASTRA Award

Space Policy Institute Director and Professor of the Practice of International Affairs Scott Pace wins the inaugural IAF Global Award for Academic and Scientific Top Research Achievement (IAF ASTRA Award). The International Astronautical Federation describes the award as, "... a unique and prestigious recognition intended to celebrate World High-Level Academicians and Researchers who distinguish themselves through outstanding contributions and achievements in scientific fields in the space sector." Pace will receive the award during the IAC 2026 Opening Ceremony on Monday, 5 October 2026.
