Ryan Elliott is the Vice President of Business Development at GovernmentCIO, a leader in government information technology and media research. In this role, Ryan leads full and open federal business development growth efforts across agencies such as the Defense Health Agency, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Treasury.
Prior to joining GovernmentCIO, Ryan was Vice President of Federal Domestic Programs at Comprehensive Health Services, where he was responsible for managing domestic federal government business development. This included creating strategies for focused growth in its core lines of business, strengthening base contracts and relationships, identifying new business opportunities, leading capture efforts to win those opportunities, and working with potential clients and partners to develop strong value propositions.
Prior to joining Comprehensive Health Services, Ryan served as the Vice President of Business Development for BNL, Inc., where he led the company’s strategy for business development and account growth across all three sectors of the federal government - civilian, intel/security and defense. He also provided client solutions, targeting program management office support, human capital management, investigative analysis, cyber security and fraud prevention, and IT services.
Ryan also worked for Adayana, Inc. as a business development executive, responsible for the company’s strategic federal healthcare agency growth. In addition, Ryan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for several years in a healthcare business development strategy role, leading pursuit teams and firm revenue growth with Fortune 100 healthcare and pharmaceutical companies in the Midwest.
He has a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Bob Jones University and a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
