Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies and Professor of Political Science and International Affairs Nathan Brown wins the 2025 Michael E. Brown Research Prize. This annual award is the foremost research prize at the Elliott School. It honors a faculty member who has made an outstanding contribution to the scholarly and policy relevant understandings of important international issues. Dr. Brown is a leading scholar on Islam and politics, Egypt, Palestine, and Arab law and constitutionalism and the directors of the Elliott School’s research Centers and Institutes recommended him as the winner of the prize from among many excellent faculty nominees this year.
