I believe that education is empowering and helps both the individual and society. I am a first generation student who graduated from Indiana University with both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Sociology. I have extensive experience working in higher education. My passion is to help students identify and achieve their goals.

Before coming to Washington DC, I lived in Colorado for many years. I also lived in El Salvador for 4 years. In my free time, I love to travel, hike and read.
