Marc Lynch Named Henry Frank Guggenheim Foundation Distinguished Scholar

On February 24, 2026 the Henry Frank Guggenheim Foundation announced its 2026 Distinguished Scholar cohort, honoring leading researchers who are prepared to make significant contributions to illuminating an issue of violence. Elliott School Professor Marc Lynch and Director of the Project on Middle East Political Science, is among these scholars. As a Distinguished Scholar, Professor Lynch will undertake his "Battle Scars: Violence and the Middle Eastern Warscape" research project.
