Cover letters can be the most intimidating piece of a job application, and yet they are also often the most important! In this interactive session, join Elliott School career coaches to learn about how to craft cover letters that are impactful and effective in showcasing the valuable skills and experiences you can bring to a role. Plus, we will share some tips that will help you work smarter, not harder, when crafting these important documents. You’ll walk away with helpful tools you can use to write cover letters that will make a lasting impression! We look forward to seeing you there!

About the Writer’s Block Series:

The Elliott Writer’s Block is a new school-wide program led by a team of seasoned Elliott School career coaches. Our coaches each bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program. The monthly program is designed to impact and inform undergraduate and graduate students on how to perfect and customize their professional documents, such as resumes, CVs, cover letters, essays, statements of interest, or writing samples. The Elliott Writer’s Block aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge to create powerful documents for all your job applications. It offers thematic workshops and includes interactive group activities in its 60-minute session.  You will walk away understanding the critical techniques for crafting outstanding documents for all your job applications. Writer's Block sessions will be hosted on the first Thursday of every month in the fall semester.
