The Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research and the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences are co-hosting a Fulbright information session for students, faculty, and staff. Belinda Theriault, U.S.-Iceland Fulbright Commission Executive Director, will lead information sessions, one for faculty and staff and one for students, about the Fulbright Scholar Program* and the Fulbright U.S. Student Program**. She will also share opportunities for Fulbright teaching, study, and research experiences in Iceland.

The information session for faculty and staff will be from 3 - 4 p.m.

The information session for students will be from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

*The Fulbright Scholar Program for academics and professionals awards more than 1,700 fellowships each year, enabling 800 U.S. Scholars to go abroad and 900 Visiting Scholars to come to the United States. As a Fulbright Scholar, you’ll make meaningful contributions to communities abroad and at home, as well as in your chosen field. You’ll also advance your career by joining a network of accomplished alumni serving as leaders and educators across the globe.

**The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. The program currently awards approximately 2,200 grants annually in all fields of study and operates in more than 140 countries.
