Erin Heffernan

Erin has been in her role as the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at the Elliott School since 2021. She served as the Co-Chair of the Elliott School Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council during the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year and was one of the inaugural recipients of the Elliott School Inclusive Community Award in 2024.

Prior to joining the Elliott School, Erin worked at NAFSA: Association of International Educators. She has also previously worked with international exchange programs in Washington, D.C. and with study abroad programs in Florence, Italy and Prato, Italy.  Originally from Orlando, Florida, she has a B.A. in International Affairs and Italian from Florida State University and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. at the George Washington University School of Business.
