Joshua Lissauer has been a Senior Career Coach at The Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University for a little under five years. He has served as a Career and Life Coach for close to 13 years. Josh’s clientele spans the C-Suite, Senior Management, foreign service officers, middle-career professionals, intelligence analysts, policy analysts, and early-career professionals worldwide. Josh serves and supports our global community by coaching clients to overcome adversity and achieve goals, dreams, and objectives. He is an accomplished, integrity-driven professional with 30+ years of work experience. The toolbox he brings to international career planning includes authoring professional branding tools (résumés, federal résumés, CVs, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles). Josh has a foundation in state-of-the-art global communication. His former employers include ESPN/Disney, MTV/Viacom, and TNT Sports. His live event coverage experience spans both Spanish and English and consists of the Tour de France, the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and international Super Bowl broadcasts from XL to XLVI. With a Master of Science in Organizational Behavior from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from SUNY Plattsburgh, he’s well-positioned to help clients brand themselves, develop their strategic career plan, and move forward in the international career of their dreams.
