Join us for a discussion on navigating career pathways in international security with Breaking the Networks: Careers Combating Trafficking, Illicit Trade, and Terror Financing . This employer panel takes place on Thursday, September 3, 2026.  Brought to you by the Elliott School of International Affairs, in partnership with the GW Center for Career Services. This panel will focus on careers and opportunities with professionals currently engaged in fighting transnational crime across sectors and borders. As part of our annual Elliott Internship Week series, attendees will learn about:

Carter Quinley MA-IPP '21, Capital One- global development and technology leader with more than 15 years of experience driving sustainable solutions across government, multilateral, philanthropic, and private sector partnerships. She has directed multimillion-dollar programs advancing responsible business conduct, migration governance, and efforts to combat human trafficking and forced labor throughout Asia and the Pacific.

Amy O'Neill Richard, Senior Director for Human Rights & Freedom. The McCain Institute. Oversees the human rights, human trafficking, religious freedom, and free political prisoners portfolios as well as a core Ukrainian leaders fellowship program. International counter-human trafficking leader with 34 years of State Department experience shaping U.S. foreign policy, advancing human rights, and combating transnational organized crime and human trafficking.
