Melanie Oeltjenbruns

Melanie joined the Elliott School of International Affairs in June 2022. She first served as the Administrative Coordinator and then transitioned into an Academic Advisor role for the UG Advising Office.

After working in marketing and event planning for 8 years in Iowa, Melanie moved out to Washington D.C. spring 2021. During a stint as a cafe manager, Melanie worked with college students daily, and felt led to work in Higher Education. Melanie is excited to be part of the GW team, supporting students and continuing to learn each day.

In her free time, Melanie loves doing anything outside, eating good food with friends, or connecting with family back home.
