The Elliott School Office of Graduate Student Services invites all GW students, faculty, and staff to attend Language Lunch. These lunches are offered on Fridays from 12:00-1:00 p.m. and provide a safe space for language learners to practice their language communication skills.Chinese, French, and Spanish are offered every week. This week's featured languages include: German, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, & Turkish The topic of conversation is - Traditions & Superstitions
Novice: Are there any superstitions in your culture?
Intermediate: Why do traditions and superstitions persist in modern societies?
Special Guest: Meet with the Turkish Embassy! Students who speak Turkish are highly encouraged to attend this session and immerse themselves in cultural exchange with a Turkish Embassy Representative. This is a great networking opportunity as well. This event is open to all students, alumni, staff, and faculty at GW, regardless of school affiliation.
