Fellowships and Grants for Graduate Study Abroad

The Elliott School, GW and several external funding organizations offer several fellowships and grants for graduate students interested in study abroad. The links below are only a partial list of funding opportunities; students are encouraged to research other funding that matches their individual interests.

Before accepting any awards, students should speak with the Elliott School's Office of Graduate Admissions and the GW Office of Student Financial Assistance to learn about any implications that study abroad or funds from outside sources may have on a financial aid package.

Elliott School Grants

The Elliott School offers limited awards and scholarships for study abroad, based on availability of funding and preference of donors. Awards are announced via the Elliott School's international education listserv, which is emailed bi-weekly to all registered Elliott School students.
