Professor Boulier received his B.A. in economics from North Carolina State University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Princeton University. Before coming to The George Washington University, he was assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Princeton and research associate at the Office of Population Research. He has also been a visiting associate professor in the School of Economics at the University of the Philippines. His research interests include demography, the economics of human resources, and forecasting.
