Zachary Constantino

Zachary Constantino is a senior U.S. Government analyst with over 14 years of experience assessing political, security, and regional developments in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In 2013, Constantino deployed to Kabul as a strategic advisor to the U.S. Commander in Afghanistan and later served as a senior advisor to the State Department’s Special Representative for Afghanistan & Pakistan (2015-2017). He is currently a Visiting Expert with the United States Institute of Peace (2019-2020).
Constantino is the recipient of eight Superior Honor and Meritorious Honor Awards from the Department of State and three citation awards from the Department of Defense. In 2018, he was recognized by the U.S. Government for his analytic excellence.
