Kimberly Estoque (she/her) is Program Assistant for the GW Institute for Korean Studies. She is a George Mason University graduate with a B.S. in Health Administration and Policy. Although her professional background is in the healthcare industry, she has a strong passion for Asian culture, graphic design, photography, social justice, and event planning. During her time at George Mason, she was heavily involved in Asian culture interest groups including the Filipino Cultural Association, Vietnamese Student Association, Korean Student Association, and the Asian Pacific American Coalition, where she served in several board positions. Kim has taken on many creative projects, including becoming a co-founder and marketing director of an event planning group, “Spring Day Events,” focused on bringing events and experiences to DMV K-Pop fans in collaboration with local businesses. She was also the manager and product creator of the group’s online Etsy shop, “Studio Spring Day.”
