Jonathan (he/him/his) oversees the Elliott School's student services portfolio including academic advising, career development, international education, and student organizations through the Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising and the Office of Graduate Student Services. He also coordinates the school's first-year experience seminar IAFF 1001. As the school's diversity officer, Jonathan works in tandem with Elliott's Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Council on Diversity and Inclusion to promote inclusive excellence.

Jonathan has extensive experience in higher education, specifically in academic and student affairs. His entire career has focused on supporting the needs and advancement of underrepresented communities—he worked at two Historically Black Universities before coming to GW in 2016. His professional experience includes work in fraternity and sorority life, student leadership programs, first year experience, student conduct, summer bridge, academic support, and academic advising. 

Jonathan is a proud graduate of Fayetteville State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. He completed a Master of Science in College Student Personnel at Arkansas Tech University. Jonathan is currently pursuing a doctorate in human and organizational learning at GW's Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
