Jessica (Jess) Hyland (she/her) is the Research Program Associate for the Asian Studies suite. In her role, she oversees budgeting, reimbursements, grant management, and financial grant application development for the Sigur Center for Asian Studies, the GW East Asia National Resource Center (NRC), and the GW Institute for Korean Studies (GWIKS). Jess has experience working in the international development sector managing USAID-funded economic growth projects in Asia. Specifically, Jess has experience working on trade and business enabling environment projects in Bangladesh and Southeast Asia. Jess graduated from the Elliott School in 2019 with a BA in International Affairs and a concentration in Asia.
