Calling all current students graduating in May 2026, recent Elliott School graduates, and all Elliott Alumni!Are you struggling to navigate your job search? Through a series of evocative group discussions and group coaching, you will walk away with foundational tools to help you launch your career. You will enjoy being part of a support group consisting of recently graduated GWU students and alumni with whom you can forge solid relationships, build confidence, and examine your career goals in a safe, confidential, and comfortable space. You will become a Job Stormer!When anyone begins to navigate a “job search plan,” it’s not easy to know where to begin. Sometimes, it’s okay to know that you may need to dive deeper and examine various tools that will get you from point A to point B. The best expert on any career ambition you have is yourself. (Resumes & Cover Letters) TH 3/19 @ 4:30pm - 5:30pm ET - Incorporating Organizational Culture into your Job SearchTH 4/2 @ 4:30pm - 5:30pm ET - Interviewing Strategies: A Group Mock InterviewTH 4/16 @ 4:30pm - 5:30pm ET - Tying it all together and Career Fair PrepTH 4/30 @ 4:00pm - 6:00pm ET - Closing Session: Exclusive Job Fair What is Job Stormers?Job Stormers is a Job Search Support Group led by Josh Lissauer, Senior Career Coach, to help students and alumni overcome issues impacting their job hunt.  The group covers topics such as networking, customizing a job search plan, refining professional documents, developing interviewing skills, and negotiating salary. The program offers engaging career buddy activities that transfer knowledge and skills. The support group setting provides each Stormer with a private sounding board, alleviating stress through the unconditional positive regard and care offered by the group. Each Stormer will walk away understanding the critical techniques of career development, mastering the job application and interview processes, and hopefully finding themselves with a new job or closer to that successful outcome.
