George V. Leaua is a recent graduate with a Master's in International Science and Technology Policy, concentrating in Space Policy (2020), from The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. George also graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Affairs, and a minor in Philosophy from the same institution (2018). He has previously interned for the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (2016), the Romanian Embassy in Washington, DC (2017), the Permanent Mission of Romania to the United Nations (2018), the Nuclear Energy Agency of the OECD in Paris (2019), and worked as an assistant for the Space Policy Institute in Washington, DC (2019-2020). George speaks English, Romanian, German, French, and Italian. He is passionate about international space governance and the ethical uses of outer space, having organized various workshops and panel events with the Space Generation Advisory Council of the United Nations and the Space Policy Institute. In his free time, George enjoys cooking, jogging, and learning to play guitar.
