Employment Qualifications & Skills Report

This survey assessed the relative importance of a student's major, skills and qualifications to employers when considering whether or not to hire a Master's degree graduate from the Elliott School of International Affairs. Two hundred and seventyfive (275) employers who have worked with Graduate Student Career Development (GSCD) responded to the survey.

From the respondents, sixty percent (60%) were from the nonprofit sector, twenty-five (25%) from the private and fifteen (15%) from the public sector. The middle section of this report summarizes their responses in a series of graphs that illustrate the relative importance of skills and qualifications by Elliott School Master's degree program. The final section lists all of the employers who responded to the survey and the majors they target.
